DEAN, Mrs. C.P. {CARDEN} - Mrs. Dean, wife of Rev. C.P. Dean, died Monday, Oct. 12, in Mayfield Hospital, St. Louis, where she was taken last week for an operation. She had suffered from a chronic ailment for a long time and had been confined to her bed for five months. The body arrived in Rogers yesterday morning and funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill church. Interment was at the family cemetery of her father, W.L. Carden, on Pea Ridge. Services were conducted by Revs. Little and McAtee. The deceased was born April 18, 1861 on Pea Ridge and has lived all her life in Benton county She leaves six children, five boys and one girl. She was an excellent Christian woman and her death is greatly regretted by all.
