Mrs. Ellen Watson, 75, Rt. 3, Springdale, died April 1 in Fayetteville City Hospital. Born Feb. 18, 1902, at Red Star, she was the daughter of John H. and Marinda Hodge Storm and a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She moved to Springdale in 1939 from Hiwasse.
Survivors include her husband, Otis Watson of the home; three sons, Robert Hatcher, Springdale, Lester Hatcher, Las Vegas, Nev., and Roy Otis Watson Jr., Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. R.N. (Pauline) McMillan, Springdale; four brothers, Earl Storm, Spokane, Wash., Ed Storm, Cushing, Okla., Troy Storm, Louisiana, Mo., and Johnny Storm, Wichita, Kan.; six sisters, Mrs. Nora Duncan, Fritch, Tex., Mrs. Minnie Sparks, Hoisington, Kan., Mrs. Frances Carpenter, Worland, Wyo., Mrs. Alta Baker, Glendale, Ariz., Mrs. Mary Burgess, Terlton, Okla., and Mrs. Ruth Burgess, Cleveland, Okla.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Phillips Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
