Monday, October 21, 1974
Lou Watson, 96, Lincoln, died at a Westville, Okla., nursing home Oct. 19. Born Aug. 2, 1878, at Dutch Mills, she was the daughter of Ben and Nancy Powell Field.
Survivors include three sons, Ben, Bakersfield, Calif., Bill and Albert, Lincoln; two daughters, Mary West, Siloam Springs, and Frances Jones, Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Allie Hicks, Sulphur, Okla.; 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Lincoln with Rev. Terrel Gordon and Rev. Staten Posey officiating. Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery near Dutch Mills under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
