Rodney "Ronnie" Scott Watson, 49, of Fayetteville departed this life Sunday February 7, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
He was born January 31, 1961 to Leo Watson and Mary Ann Watson in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He attended Fayetteville High School and worked many years detailing cars.
Ronnie had a big heart and loved hunting, fishing, and always had a smile on his face.
He was a member of St. James Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Leo Watson, and a sister Glen Joyce Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Ms. Mary Ann Johnson; three brothers, Bennie Watson of Fayetteville, Emmitt Watson of Houston, TX. and Robert Jackson of Chicago, Illinois; five sisters, Mary Alice White of Alma, Mary Sue Howard of Fort Smith, Betty Ruth Watson and Windy Carr both of Fayetteville and Annie Kay Whitley of Detroit, MI. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at St. James Baptist Church with Brother Claude Ricks officiating.
Private burial was in Oak Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Fayetteville.
