Marie Mable Smith, 77, of Van Buren died Thursday, May 19, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was born in Natural Dam. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith and retired from Whirlpool.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Spencer and Nona Krammar of Van Buren, and Loretta Clark of Fort Smith; a son, Jesse Smith of Van Buren; five sisters, Lena Johnson of Benton City, Wash., Velma Smith of Oklahoma City, Ruby Hatton of California, Lizzie Jackson of Siloam Springs and Ella Ross of Van Buren; four brothers, Arlie, Billy, T.J. and Jimmy Brown, all of Natural Dam; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale Trentham, Rocky Pratt, Pete Fain, Mike Spencer, Fred Romphf and Terry Lovell.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
