Betty Jo Scott Dies At 42
Miss Betty Jo Scott 42, a resident of 1014 West Olive in Rogers and bookkeeper at the Rogers Water Department since 1949, died this morning at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 3, 1929, at what was the Mundell Community east of Rogers before it was inundated by Beaver Lake. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle Clark Scott.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Nora Vanhook, Rogers, Mrs. Leona Johnson, Lewiston, Idaho, Mrs. Velma Pearl and Mrs. Loy Johnson, both of Caldwell, Idaho; three brothers, Clyde Scott, Rogers, James Scott, Mexico, Mo., and Leland Scott, Caldwell, Idaho; 23 nieces and nephews and 32 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Callison Funeral Home of Rogers.
