SCOTT, Nellie DEASON - Mrs. Nellie Scott, 42 years old, of Brightwater, died Sunday in a hospital here after an operation on February 4. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hutton and Rev. B.R. Williams at the church at Brightwater at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in the Tuck's Chapel cemetery in charge of J.W. Bryant. Mrs. Scott leaves her husband, G.W. Scott, five sons, and one daughter. The children are Sherman, 19 years old, Bruce, Floyd, Preston, Gynell and H.K., 16 months old. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Deason of Brightwater; four sisters and two brothers: Mrs. W.C. Davis, 222 North Eighth street and Mrs. T.O.C. Murphy, West Walnut street, Rogers; Mrs. Charley Hutchinson and Mrs. Robert Wardlow of Brightwater, H.K. Deason of Fort Smith and Kenneth Deason of Monett, Mo. Mrs. Scott was an aunt of Misses Fay and Glee Davis and Harold Wardlow of Rogers.

(from Brightwater) We regret to report the death of Mrs. George Scott Sunday night at 7 o'clock at the Home hospital in Rogers where she had under gone an operation for gall stones about a week ago. She leaves her husband, six children, her parents, two brothers and four sisters besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her going. The funeral was at the church here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was at Tuck's Chapel immediately afterwards.
