Raymond Clyde Scott, 74, of Gravette, Arkansas, died June 9, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas. Born October 5, 1942, at Maysville, Arkansas, he was the son of Clyde Bartley Scott and Alma Burton. Raymond married Carol Sue Nowlin, May 28, 1962 in Pineville, Missouri. He was a long time resident of Maysville and the minister at Maysville Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years. Raymond had a passion for Jesus and loved to tell others of Him. He was a great story teller and loved to go deer hunting.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Phil Thomas and Albert Scott and sister Betty Ann Scott.

Survivors include his wife Carol Sue of the home; daughter Sherri Daugherty and husband Dewayne of Maysville, Arkansas; son Ray Scott and wife Angela of Maysville, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren Brad Daugherty, Trevor Daugherty, Brittney Scott and Jacob Scott; 1 great grandchild Brycen Weeks; and brother Davey Thomas of Springfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Maysville Missionary Baptist Church, Maysville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Arkansas. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
