McGARRAH, William Irvin - William Irvin, the seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. McGarrah, died Thursday morning at the home of his parents, corner of Elm and Fifth streets. He had been ill with typhoid fever for several weeks and was thought until just a short time previous to his death to be improving but when he began to fail the end to his young life came quickly. Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon at two o'clock and were conducted by Rev. U.S. Thomas of the Baptist church. "Buster," as he was known by his family and little friends, was a bright and promising boy and his untimely death is a great grief to all who knew him.
