MOUNTAINBURG - Ronald Dwayne "Ronnie" McGarrah, 57, of Mountainburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 28, 1958, in Elk City, Okla., and was a brick mason throughout is life. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Sue Center of the home; two sons, Jerry McGarrah and wife Brittanee of Prairie Grove, Joey McGarrah and wife Jessie of Paris; his mother, Leona McGarrah of Springdale; one sister, Glenna Harrell and husband Tyler of Lowell; two brothers, Darrel McGarrah of Fayetteville, Terry McGarrah and wife JoAnn of Lowell; and four grandchildren, Cole, Jase, Addison and Finley. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie McGarrah, in 2006.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com. Interment will be at Hickory Creek Cemetery.
