Lee Garrett, 68, former Pea Ridge man, passed away Dec. 20th at noon at his home in Eureka Springs following an illness of several weeks. Mr. Garrett was born on Dec. 27, 1864 at Pea Ridge, the son of Billy Garrett, a pioneer farmer of this section. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church and burial made in Garfield cemetery. His wife, Mrs. Janie Garrett, a daughter, Mrs. Cleda Dawson, and three grandchildren survive.
