JOHN E. GARRETT
John E. Garrett, 83, Rt. 1, Garfield, died Sept. 7 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1893, at Garfield, he was the son of James and Caroline Fuhr Garrett and a member of the Garfield Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, James W. Garrett, Azalea, Ore.; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Zelda) Relethford, Garfield, Mrs. C.M. (Susan Marie) Kenley, Wichita, Kan., Mrs. B. E. (Caroline) Drake, Joplin, Mo., and Mrs. Leonard (Virginia) Roller, Seligman, Mo.; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Garfield Church of Christ. Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, under the direction of Callison Chapel of Rogers.
