GENTRY — Raymond Arthur Garrett, 81, of Gentry died April 15, 2011, at the Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. He was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Siloam Springs to Ray and Della Mae Garrett.
He was a farmer and for a time drove a school bus for the Decatur Public Schools.
Survivors include wife, Donna Garrett of the home; four daughters, including Kay Brandon and husband Chuck of Gentry, Lenora Lucas and husband Ron of Claremore, Okla., Sheila Bode and husband David of Siloam Springs, Reta Wilkins and husband Bryan of Decatur; son, Donald Amos and wife Lorrie of Gentry; nine grandchildren: two great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers, Roy Garrett of Vaughn and Jerry Don Garrett of Bella Vista.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m today at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Backstrom- Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs. Burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Gentry.
