J.T. Dockins, 82, of Springdale died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in Springdale. He was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Izard County to James Thomas and Mary Lovelace Dockins.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a Protestant and a retired police officer for Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Madge; three sons, Jim Dockins of Louisville, Ky., Steve Dockins of Hollister, Mo., and Jay Dockins of Dardanelle; two sisters, Oris Whitfield of Little Rock and Marie Killian of Washington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin 11 a.m.
Saturday in Crossroads Church near Calico Rock.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday in the Crossroads Church near Calico Rock
Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale 72764.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
