Myrtle Lee Jones June 3, 1930 - November 15, 2016
Myrtle Lee (Wilson) Jones 86 of Walnut Ridge; passed away Tuesday November 15, 2016 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center.
Born June 3, 1930 in Cubbage, KY; daughter of Jim and Sarah Wilson. She was united in marriage to Harvey J. Jones on December 27, 1947. She was a loving mother and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey; three sisters in Kentucky; one son, Harvey Lee Jones and a great grandson, Brik Walke.
Survivors include two sons, Howard Jones of Walnut Ridge and Tom (Alfreda) Jones of Jonesboro; three daughters, Connie Jones of Walnut Ridge, Rosie (Tony) Wagner and Brenda (Scotty) Turner all of Egypt; one brother, J.B. (Peggy) Wilson of Cubbage, KY; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2 P.M. in the Markham Cemetery near Egypt with Dale Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be Tom Jones, Tony Wagner, Scotty Turner, Rick Foreman, Triston Turner and Chris Jones. Honorary Pallbearer Adam Jones.
