Harry B. Jones Sr. 77 of Walnut Ridge; died March 29, 2021 in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

Born June 5, 1943 in Giles Spur; son of the late Orville and Agnes Collins Jones. He was united in marriage to Sharon Ragsdell on June 11, 1966. He was a lifetime Farmer and of the Baptist Faith. Harry enjoyed working on cars and watching stock car racing. He took great pride in being a lifelong member and Elder of the Giles Spur Community.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon in 2013; two brothers, Johnny and Rex Jones; and two sisters, Patricia Sue Jones and Brenda Kay Cullum.

Survivors include his two sons, Harry B. “Jay” (Jennifer Susanne) Jones of Searcy and Cheyenne (Bethany) Jones of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Stephanie (Weldon) Denton of Walnut Ridge and Celea (Jonathon) Vankirk of Imboden; three grandchildren, Carrie Denton, Avery and Maliea Jones; two grandsons, Wade and Rhett Jones; two brothers, Billy Mack Jones and Larry Jones both of Smithville; one sister, Regina White of Delaplaine; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2 P.M. in the Whittaker Cemetery with Bro. Billy Mack Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey White, Charlie Cullum, Keith Binkley, L.A., George and Wade Jones. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Pratt and Jerry Rothe.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel.

Sharon Louise Jones, 64, of Walnut Ridge, passed away August 13, 2013 at her residence following a lenthly illness.

Born February 9, 1949 in Walnut Ridge, daughter of Fred Joseph and Edith Louise Sisco Ragsdell. She was a homemaker and a master gardener at Taylor’s Greenhouse and of the Church of Christ belief.

She is preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Jimmy Ragsdell and Tommy Ragsdell.

Survivors include her husband, Harry B. Jones Sr. of the home; two daughters, Stephanie (Weldon) Denton of Walnut Ridge and Celea Jones of the home; two sons, “Jay” Harry B. (Jennifer) Jones Jr. of Quitman, and Colby “Cheyenne” Jones of Black Rock and a future daughter in law, Bethany Erwin of Black Rock; her mother, Edith Ragsdell of O’Kean; three sisters, Freda Dean of O’Kean, Donna Eubanks of Delaplaine, Virricka Wilson of Hoxie; three grandchildren, Carrie Denton of Walnut Ridge, Avery and Wade Jones of Quitman; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Billy Mack Jones will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Gifford, Joey Gentry, Bruce Carter, William Sisco, Keith Binkley, and Robert Pratt. Honorary pallbearers Jeff Rothe, Jerry Rothe, Jeremy Rothe, Justin Anglin, and all nephews.
