Imboden - Billy Gene Jones, 69 of Imboden passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born near Birdell on July 14, 1946 to James Gerald and Lela Jane Horseman Jones. On January 10, 1966 he married Wanda Hill in Annieville. He was a rancher, truck driver, and of the Baptist belief.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Bobby Jones; brothers, Leon Jones, W.H. Jones, and Jr. Jones.
He is survived by: his wife, Wanda Hill Jones of the home; son, Gerald Wayne Jones (Laura) of Pocahontas; daughters, Kendrea Johnson (Roy) of Cadiz, Kentucky, Karen Bounds (Brandon) of Imboden, and Jennifer Patsey (Derek) of Jonesboro; brother, Eddie Jones of Ravenden; sisters, Betty Weiss and Margaret Matthews, both of Imboden, and Phyllis Blackshire of Morrilton; eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Annieville. Funeral will follow at 1:00 pm with Linny Finney officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Annieville with arrangements under direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Bounds, Chad Johnson, Billy Jones, Blake Jones, Johnny Jones and Tracy Jones.

Wanda Aleen Jones, 74, of Imboden passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born September 25, 1949, in Arizona to the late Clayton Hill and Ruby (Noth) Broadway. She was united in marriage to Billy Jones on January 10, 1966, in Annieville. Wanda was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Annieville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jones; son, Bobby Jones; brothers, Billy Hill and Melvin Dewayne Hill; sisters, Kay Doyle and Deanna Finney; daughter-in-law, Laura Jones; and step-dad, Melvin Broadway.
She is survived by son, Gerald Wayne Jones of Annieville; daughters, Kendrea Bryant (John) of Cadiz, Kentucky, Karen Bounds (Brandon) of Imboden, and Jennifer Patsey (Derek) of Jonesboro; brother, Don Broadway of Black Rock; sister, Tina Winkler of Paragould; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one soon to be great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Annieville with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m. Linny Finney will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Annieville under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dylan Bounds, Chad Johnson, Tyler Bounds, Timmy Polston, Alan Polston, and Tyler Willard.
Honorary pallbearer will be Betty Weiss and Janet Smith.
