MORRIS, Rachel - Bentonville, Ark., Feb. 1.- Thirteen orphan children were reared and fitted for life by "Aunt" Rachel Morris, who died at her home near Bentonville the past week. Having no children of her own Aunt Rachel for more than 20 years took orphans into her home, treated them as her own, educated them in the public schools of the neighborhood and prepared them all to take care of themselves. The majority of them came from organizations in the north. Of untiring industry and unusual executive ability, Aunt Rachel transformed her rocky acres into a productive and comfortable farm home. She was a member of the Methodist church near her home since its organization and was known far and wide for her good deeds and kindnesses. Mrs. Morris was buried Thursday in Mt. Pleasant cemetery at the church which she helped to organize, services being conducted by Rev. T.W. Shipley, pastor of the M.E. church of Bentonville. Mrs. Morris was about 75 years of age.
