MORRIS, Sarah - {from The Siloam Springs Daily Free Press} The terrible accident which befell Mrs. Sarah Morris last Friday resulted in her death Thursday morning at 2:30 at her home north of the city and left many relatives and friends to mourn. It was a sad accident and the suffering of the aged lady was severe until death came to her relief. The story of the unfortunate affair as told by witnesses is to the effect that Mrs. Morris was milking in the barnyard when a horse came running up to drive the cow from her feed and Mrs. Morris was thrown to the ground and trampled upon by the beast. She was removed to the home and was given every care but her life could not be saved. Mrs. Morris was the mother of Mrs. C.R. Jones of this city and of Mrs. J.E. Taylor, who resides near the city, a relative of Clabe Morris, south of town and leaves other relatives, besides her sorrowing husband, to mourn her untimely death. Mrs. Morris was a native of Tennessee, being born in Murray county in 1837. She was 72 years, 2 months and 17 days old.

A precious one from us has gone
A voice beloved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled
