Bentonville — Mrs. Emma Morris Smith, 78, of Bentonville died April 19 at the Bates Memorial Hospital. Born June 28, 1894 in Healing Springs, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ball of Bentonville; three sons, Orville Morris of Globe, Okla., Harold Morris of San Juan, Tex. and Darrell Morris of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Esther Ritter of Bentonville: three brothers, Claude Grammer of Gentry, Ernie Grammer of Springdale and Lester Grammer of Bentonville; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church with burial in Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home.
