Mrs. Elizabeth Haney, 63, of Midway died Tuesday at a local hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM today (Thursday) at the Galatia Assembly of God Church with Rev Roy Tennison officiating. Interment will be in the Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
The daughter of John Helm and Susie Hightower Helm, she was born at Batesville on October 24, 1908, and was married in May 1928.
Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Haney of Midway; three sons, Robert Glan of Mt. Home, Henry Ray of Buffalo, IA and Orvill of Shawnee, KS; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Lou Kirby of Midway, Mrs. Alberta Sanders of Pineville, and Mrs. Anna Sue Friend of Lowell; two sisters, Miss Inez Haney of Mt. Home and Mrs. Lela Wheeler of Salesville; two brothers, Floyd Helm of Salesville and Lee Helm of Batesville; and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Whitehead, Kenneth Whitehead, Carroll Whitehead, Melvin Haney, Lenford Haney, Frank Wheeler and Jack Bonner.
