George Von Haney, 66, of Mt. Home, a retired miner and a Baptist, died last Thursday at the Marion County Hospital in Yellville.
The son of Thomas Richard Haney and Mary Heiskill Haney, he was born Sep 1, 1905, in Baxter County and was a lifetime resident of the area.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Surritte of Versailles, MO; a brother, Webster Haney of Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Fletcher of Harrison; and a grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Memorial Chapel with Rev. O.I. Ford, minister of the East Side Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Heiskill Cemetery at Buffalo, under the direction of McClure-Smith Service.
