June 26, 1936 - June 24, 2018
Jesse Jones, 81, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
He was born June 26, 1936, in Murfreesboro, AR. Jesse was a retired plumber and boiler operator for Lion Oil Refinery and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Ira "Happy Jack" and Sarah Melvina Burton Jones Vines; daughter, Zanobre Rochelle Hammond; brother, James Henry Jones; sister, Lorene Virginia Jones Murray; nephew, Herman Talmadge Murray; and best friend, Utah Daniels.
Survivors include his brother, Gearl Jones (Shirley); nephew, David Jones (Laura); nieces, Vicky Hicks (Richard); Linda Murray Hogue; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Craig Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Bro. Adair Ellen officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
