Utah Daniels, 96, of El Dorado, passed away on May 3, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Utah was born in Strong, Ar on October 19, 1921 to Sumpter and Leanice Daniels. He loved to fish and hunt. More than his love for these hobbies was his love of family and most importantly his relationship with Jesus Christ. Utah was a member of East Main Baptist Church for 54 years and a retired employee of Lion Oil.
Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Marie Daniels; son, Kenny Daniels; and daughter, Joyce Spry.
Those left to cherish his memories are daughter, Glenda Leach (John); granddaughters, Deanie Walthall (Eugene), Tab Spry, Donete Sinclair, Tracie Lee (Tommy), Kristie Ward (Jeff); eight great grand children, Courtney Phillips (J.R.), Lakin Walthall, Morgan Jameson (John), Logan Sinclair, Taylor Hedlund (Justin), Tanner Rhodes, Hayden Ward, and Hunter Ward; great-great grandson Wyatt Phillips; great-great step-grandson Drake Phillips; sister, Dorothy Watson; special friend, Jesse Jones; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018 at East Main First Baptist Church followed by interment at Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to East Main Baptist Church or the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
