Lonnie W. Daniels, 67, of Calion, died at a local hospital Thursday afternoon. He was born in Calion, Dec. 26, 1896, the son of Willian N and Zelia Murphy Daniels. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Calion and was a retired employe of Monsanto Chemical Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Irene Nash Daniels of Calion; two daughters, Mrs. Lonnie Gene Dean of Hot Springs, and Mrs. Margaret Flemmings of El Dorado; one sister, Mrs. Allie Daniels Davis of Calion; one brother, Dewel Sambo Daniels of Smackover; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Pratt Funeral Home with Elder E. J. Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home.
