June 8, 1960 - February 25, 2017
Bobby Ray Daniels, Sr. also known by family and friends as “Uncle Bob” was born June 8, 1960 to Idonia Marie Daniels and Fred Daniels. He departed this life February 25, 2017 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
At an early age, he united with Union Mission where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Bobby was a former employee of Ensco, and Milam Construction. He loved music, family, and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents: Idonia Marie Daniels and Fred Daniels; two sisters, Leslie Marie Clay and Jannie Mae Jones and two brothers, James Curley Daniels and Albert Grant.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Mary E. Daniels of El Dorado; four sons, Bobby Daniels, Jr. (Sherika) of El Dorado, Donreka Clark of El Dorado, Byron Miller (Ashley) of Little Rock and Travoris Ellis El Dorado; six daughters, Latoshia Johnson (Brian) of Little Rock, Shakedaa Staples of El Dorado, Rakeba Daniels of El Dorado, Sharon Watts of El Dorado, Shaunika Black (James) of Pine Bluff and Tameka Jackson of Little Rock; five brothers, Fredrick Daniels of El Dorado, J.W. Harper of Dallas, TX, Joe Grant of Portland, Oregon, Willie Grant of Portland, Oregon and Will Brown of El Dorado; three sisters, Mae Easter Foster of El Dorado, Celestine Daniels Wade of El Dorado and Gertha Browning of Camden. He also leaves twenty grandchildren and one on the way, and two great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 12 noon until 6pm. The family will receive friends from 5-6pm at Sims Mortuary. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church with Bishop George Calloway, eulogist.
