Kenneth Jerome (Kenny) Daniels, 21, of 1728 E. Cedar St., died Monday afternoon of injuries suffered in an automobile wreck six weeks ago. Born Dec. 22, 1949, in Bastrop, La., he was the son of Utah and Marie Powell Daniels. Mr. Daniels was a vocational student and a member of East Main Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Spry, Crossett, and Mrs. Glenda Leach, Shreveport; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Daniels, El Dorado, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Powell, West Monroe, La. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at East Main Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Wayne King, Gerald Carney, Bobby Joe Frisby, Benny Fuller, Ted Barry and Danny McGoogan. (El Dorado Times - August 10, 1971)
