ADAMS, Ellen MILSTEAD Russell - Mrs. Ellen Milstead Adams died at Gravette March 12th. Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon, Elder John Stevens officiating. Burial took place in the Russell cemetery. Ellen Milstead was born in 1845, coming to Arkansas in 1866 where she lived ever since. She married first Sam Russell and to them was born a son who preceded her in death, as did Mr. Russell. In 1909 she married second John Adams who died some years ago. At an early age she became a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are her adopted son, S.R. Rice, nine nieces and six nephews.
