BENTONVILLE — Cathy Mayfield of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Aug. 26, 2020. She was born May 14, 1958, in Long Beach, Calif., to John Clarke and Gloria Austin Clarke.

Cathy traveled the world with her family, graduating high school in London, United Kingdom, and attending Mills College in Oakland, Calif. Cathy had a great love for horses, her farm, and was an accomplished seamstress. She was a member of the Ozark Arabian Horse Club, served on their board and was also the treasurer of the club for many years. She was a member of the Northwest Arkansas Dressage Club and leaves behind a 30-year career at Walmart.

Survivors are her husband of 42 years, Thomas Mayfield; two daughters, Christina Woodward and husband Andy of Bentonville, Jennifer Comella and husband David of Swansea, Illinois; a grandson Christopher of Swansea, Illinois; her mother, Gloria Clarke of Bella Vista, Arkansas; siblings, Elizabeth Caudle of Bella Vista, Teresa Clarke of Fort Worth, Texas, Joseph Clarke of Broomfield, Colo.

Services will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10 a.m. No visitation.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
