Brother Lowery was born on September 15, 1942, in Salem, AR. He was born to the proud parents of Dayton and Mattie Lee Lowery, and to this union, 16 children (11 girls and 5boys) were born. Hershey was the 12th child and baby boy.

Brother Lowery accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Starlight Missionary Baptist Church. He served as an honorary Deacon and Usher until his health began to fail. He was employed by Union Pacific Railroad for a number of years and then he went on to work for Anthony Forest until he retired.

Brother Lowery was a loving father to many. The world's greatest Pawpaw, Uncle, Brother, and Friend. He enjoys spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Whenever you met him, he always had a big smile on his face and ready to talk.

Brother Lowery was married to Sister Willie Mae Levington and to this union 8 children were born. Brother Hershey Lowery was called home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021, at the age of 78 years old at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, his parents, one son: Charles Bell; four brothers: Robert, Lonnie, Timothy, and Jamerson; four sisters: Minnie Ollie Bee, Eunice, and Julie Mae; and one great-granddaughter Ashley Bell.

Mr.Lowery leave to cherish his memories: Felecia Green (Bernard)of Strong AR, Darlene Frazier, Willie Hartsfield, John Lowery, and Timothy Lowery all of El Dorado, AR, Steve Lowery (Ecstacy)of Conway AR, Michael King of Detroit, and raise two as his own, Rodricus Lewis and Marcus Levingston of El Dorado, AR; Five sisters: Ollie Fay Finney, Freddie Jean McDaniel, Mary E Daniels, Pat Malone all of El Dorado, AR, Betty Brodie of Detroit, MI and Shirley Myles of Riverside, CA; Brothers and Sisters in Laws: Sheman Levingston (Betty), Jessie, Rosie, Geneva, Betty, Girtha, Mary Dean, Johnnie Bea, and Eilene;29 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grands, a special daughter, Carleen Ford and a special sister: Judy Burns and a special Porter Jackson also a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Lott Burgy Cemetery in El Dorado, AR.

Visitation will be on Saturday, at 12:30 until service time under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
