Verbie Lee Lowery, 74 of El Dorado passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Grace Point Health Care, in El Dorado, AR.
Verbie was born October 21, 1941 in Ruleville, MS, to the union of Joseph Lester Lowery and Lucy Etyol Peeples Lowery.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great granddaughter.
He was a retired truck driver for Miller Transport Inc. and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Army National Guard with twenty one years service.
Survivors include his wife of twenty six years, Sandy Lowery, three daughters, Teresa Gail Lowery, Pamela Dianne Bates, and Victoria Lynn "Vickie" Lowery, one son, Devin Gene Lowery, two brothers, Charles "Elmo" Lowery and Ernest "Ernie" C. Lowery, four grandchildren, Ashley Merriman and husband Eric, Joseph Brooks, Jessica Brooks and Carl Brooks and wife Ashley, four great grandchildren, Brody, Carly, Emory, and Armaan.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Wyatt-Parnell Cemetery in El Dorado, with Rev. Danny Donahoe officiating. Services under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.
