Elaine McDowell Lowery, 70, of El Dorado passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at John R Williamson Hospice House. God needed a special person to make beautiful flower arrangements.

For her outstanding work she was awarded Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen Volunteer of the Year. Elaine’s creativity and artistry showed in her beautiful floral designs. She was a faithful and active member of Northwest Baptist Church where she participated in women’s ministry activities and designed themes for Vacation Bible School.
Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband of 52 years, Danny Lowery; daughters, Kim Storey (Mike), Kelly Lowery, and Karla Balzer (Pete); brothers, Wayne McDowell, Barry McDowell (Sharon) and Butch McDowell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be terribly missed by her canine companion, Levi.
She is precede in death by her parents; son, Kevin Lowery; sister, Linda McDowell Bridges; and brother, Rocky McDowell.
