Kasei Janan Gabbard, age 52, of Winslow, died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at her home. She was born October 2, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Jerry and Helen Byrne. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Kelly Byrne. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Gabbard; a daughter, Kara Smith and her husband Luke of Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, D. J. Gabbard and his wife Cara of Kansas City, Kansas and Tyler Gabbard and his wife Kelly of Allen, Oklahoma; her mother, Helen Jackson of West Fork, Arkansas; a brother, Jason Byrne of Wichita, Kansas and five grandchildren, Jaxon Smith, Journey Smith, Raylan Gabbard, Wyatt Gabbard and Wade Gabbard.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207. To sign the online guest book, visit www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
