Harrison B. Gabbard, 88, of Fayetteville died today in a local hospital. Born Sept. 16, 1896, in Patrick, the son of Phil and Mary Gabbard, he was an Army veteran of World War I, and was retired from the Fulbright Lumber Company. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ena Nay Gabbard of the home; two sons, Bennie and Sherman Gabbard, both of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Rodriguez and Mrs. Doris Reynolds, both of Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Collins of Mountainburg, 25 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church with burial in Tharp Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
