FARMINGTON — Richard Lewis Davis, 79, of Farmington, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1992, at his residence. He was born July 17, 1913, at Jacksboro, Texas, the son of Joe and Carrie Price Davis. He was a member of the Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for over 50 years. He was a retired farmer and a long-time resident of the Little Elm area.

Survivors are his wife, Henrietta Williams Davis of the home; two daughters, Imogene Kyger of Fayetteville and Mary Lee Hopkins of Prairie Grove; two brothers, Leonard Davis of Liberal, Kan., and Raymond Davis of Farmington; two sisters, Thelma Lee Templeton and Mildred Davis, both of Farmington; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church at Farmington, Brother Jeff Hart will officiate and burial will be at the Farmington Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Randy Spears, Danny Spears, Larry Stapleton, Billy Stapleton, Dwight Williams and Wade Williams.

Memorials may be made to the Washington Regional Medical Center hospice program.
