SPRINGDALE — Arvle Davis, 55, of Springdale died Oct. 17, 2004, in Springdale. He was born April 29, 1949, in Limestone (Newton County) to Robert and Opal Young Davis. He worked in the maintenance department for the Springdale School District, and be liked to hunt.
Survivors include his mother of Springdale; one brother, Bill Davis of Springdale; five sisters, Pauline Stewart and Eylene Litterell, both of Springdale, Anita Gibson of Upland, Calif., Loretta Kring of Chino Hills, Calif., and Freda Poplin of Baldwin, Kan.; six nieces and six nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home, Springdale, with the Rev. Paul Hill officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Stewart, Charley Reed, Brad Hollingsworth, Richard Stewart, Jerry Hill and Bill Davison. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Mancell, Michael Puliafico, Donald White and Anita Gibson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
