Andrew Jackson Adams
Husband of Nettie Donetta Sammons Adams
The gravestone shows that he was born in 1868 and died in 1948, but those dates appear to be incorrect. A brief obituary in the March 6, 1943, edition of The Baxter Bulletin indicates that "Uncle Jack Adams passed away Saturday morning, February 27, at the age of 79 years." An entry in the Sammons family history in History & Families, Baxter County, Arkansas, indicates that Andrew Jackson "Jack" Adams was born July 6, 1862, in Orrich, Ray County, Missouri, and died February 27, 1943, at Norfork, Arkansas.
