COWAN, Miles - {from Lowell) The many friends of Miles Cowan were grieved to hear of his death last Friday at the home of his son, Demp Cowan, west of town. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Uncle Miles was one of our oldest citizens, having lived here a greater part of his life. He was the father of Demp Cowan and Mrs. Byron Jones of this place.
