Dale Fields, 59, 504 W. Huntsville Ave., Springdale, died May 17 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born May 11, 1918, in Springdale, he was the son of William T. and Bailey Elizabeth Smith Fields, a member of Pleasant Street Church of Christ and operated the Quickie Food Store. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnell Hill Fields of the home; one son, Dale Eugene Fields, Springdale; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Barbara) Walker, El Dorado; four stepsons, Harold McCutcheon, Donnie McCutcheon, Andy McCutcheon and Bruce McCutcheon, Springdale; four step daughters, Mrs. Jim (Marjorie) Foster, Mrs. Janell Farris and Gayle McCutcheon, Springdale, and Mrs. Warren (Jerrie) Capehart, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Tom Fields, Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Juanita Steelman, El Dorado; six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

Funeral services for Dale Fields, 59, 504 W. Huntsville Ave., Springdale, were held at 2 p.m. today in Sisco Chapel with N. F. Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

Pallbearers were Arlis Wright, Jim Fields, Warren Reed, Bob Cary, Ollen Stepp, Ollen McCoy, William M. Proctor and James Hennington.
