TONTITOWN — Sylvia S. Fields, 78, of Tontitown, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born June 9, 1933, in Erick, Okla., to James Melvin "Jim" and Mary Brown Shuler.

Many lives were touched by Sylvia's gentle care for children and her kind heart for those that provided her care.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Harrison.
