FAYETTEVILLE — McRay Baker, 79, died Nov. 27, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 13, 1929, in St. Paul to John Baker and Addle Wing Baker.

He was a welding instructor for Cass Job Corps for many years. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Shoffit.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Frankie Baker; three daughters, Della Reyes of Florida, Sue Tunstill and husband Stan of Fayetteville, and Deanna Eiland and husband Jack of Fayetteville; one sister, Edna Totchterman of Modesto, Calif.; six grandsons; four granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Beards Chapel from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Sam Judd officiating. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Eiland, Joey Eiland, Matthew Tunstill, Stanley Tunstill, Jack Eiland and Eulas Bowles.

FAYETTEVILLE — Frankie E. Baker 78, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born Dec. 21, 1935, in Franklin County, Ark., to Charlie Bowles and Annie Wilson Bowles.

She was a mother and grandmother to many, and had a great impact on a lot of lives and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband McRay Baker; three brothers, Morris Bowles, Idaus Bowles and William Tom Bowles and sister, Beula Faye Hopper.

She is survived by three daughters, Della Reyes of South Carolina, Edna Sue Tunstill and husband Stanley of Fayetteville and Deanna Eiland and husband Jackie of Fayetteville; sister, Juanita East of Springdale; brother Eulas Bowles and wife Judy of Bidville; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday Jan. 29, 2014, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lynnville Eaton officiating.

Burial will be at Round Mountain Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Willard Walker Hospice staff for the wonderful care that she received.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice home, 325 E. Longview, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
