William Estell Martin was born July 24, 1919 to John Salter and Fluella Wells Martin. He served in the U.S. Army from January 6, 1941 until November 5, 1945 during WWII. William was killed, along with his younger brother John Miles Martin in an auto accident on July 10, 1950.
John Miles was the son of John Salter and Fluella Wells Martin, born in Carlisle on May 28, 1928. He had eight siblings. John and his brother Willam Estell Martin were killed in an automobile accident July, 1950.
