SPRINGDALE — Carylon Beatrice Clark Cox, age 64, of Springdale, died May 30, 2012, at Regency Hospital in Springdale. She was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Modesto, Calif., the daughter of Carl Leon and Opal Layne Clark.

She was of the Assembly of God faith and a retired secretary for Green Country Nursery. She enjoyed all kinds of needlework, flowers and wildlife, especially hummingbirds.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Cox of the home; two daughters, Kathy Snodgrass and her husband, Mark, of Fayetteville, and Jamie Faubus and her husband, Doyle, of Springdale; one brother, David Clark of Siloam Springs; one sister, Pam Bohannon of Springdale; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jane Powell officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday, June 4, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chad Massey, Jack Keele, Steve Cox, Don Bohannan, Randy Skaggs and Joe Boyle. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Snodgrass, Doyle Faubus and James Hutchens. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
