1922 - 2010
Kenneth Wayne Cox, 87, of the Round Mountain Community, passed away July 18, 2010.
He was born December 3, 1922 at Mulberry, Kansas, the son of Fred and Flora Cox.
He was the youngest of nine children.
He was a retired rancher and carpenter and was a volunteer at Round Mountain Fire Department. He was a deacon and teacher at Round Mountain Community Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by: His wife of 68 years: Orvetta Rowley Cox; a daughter: Carol J. Barnes and her husband Doyle; grandson Joshua Barnes; great-grandson; Kyle; daughter Linda Kay McKee and her husband Charles and granddaughter, Sherry Harper and her husband Kevin and great-grandchildren Kaley and Dylan; grandson James McKee and his wife Elizabeth and great-grandchildren Jacob and Serenity and many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and neighbors.
Funeral service was 10:00 am, Thursday, July 22 at Round Mountain Community Church.
Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Moore's Chapel
