Daughter of Pleasant Thomas and Mary Ellen Hilyard Dickerson.
Married Edgar Martin Parnell on January 11, 1919, at Picher, Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Hettie Margaret Parnell, 75, of Mt. Home, a lifetime resident of Baxter County, died Wednesday of last week at Baxter General Hospital. She was the widow of Edgar Parnell, who died in 1961.
The daughter of Pes Dickerson and the former Mary Ellen Hilyard, Mrs. Parnell was born Nov 1, 1898, at Norfork. She was a member of the Chruch of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Merl of Jordan and Macey of Valley Center, KS; six daugthers, Mrs. Mary Baker of Norfork, Mrs. Lucille Bansemer of Mt. Home, Mrs. Alteen Rand of Rodney, Mrs Pearl Beard of Midway and Mrs. Ruby Hargatt and Mrs. Nancy Southard, both of Springfield, MO; 38 grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
The funeral service was conducted Friday at the Roller Chapel with Rev. Charles Stanford, pastor of the East Side Baptist Church of Mt. Home officiating.
Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery near Norfork, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bobbie Parnell, Randy Parnell, Joe Parnell, Richard Baker, Billy Joe Beard, Jerry Beard, Frank Tilley and Kenneth Forbus.
