Monday, July 30, 1951
Springdale, July 30-(Special)- William Joe Murphy, 74, of Route 2 Springdale, died yesterday morning at the County Hospital. He was born November 10, 1877, in Asher and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Drain Murphy; a son, W. C. Murphy; two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Miller and Mrs. Edith White, all of Springdale; two half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Glenn of Farmington and Mrs. Norm McConnell of Japton; two half-brothers, Walter McConnell of Fayetteville and Albert McConnell a Farmington.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Joyce cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
