Clyde B, Murphy, 83, Springdale, died July 31 in a Rogers nursing home. Born Jan. 25, 1892, in Garland, Tex., he was the son of Robert C. and Bossie Lee Shalber Murphy and the widower of Mona Phillips Murphy. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Springdale IOOF Lodge and a retired florist. He once owned much of the property where Murphy Park is now located.

Survivors include one son, Milton Lee (Pat) Murphy, Springdale; one brother, Clint Murphy, Fayetteville; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sisco Chapel.

Funeral services for Clyde B. Murphy, 83, Springdale, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, under the direction of Sisco.

Robert Clint Murphy, 90, of Fayetteville, died Jan. 24 in Fayetteville. Born May 1, 1887, at Garland, Texas, he was the son of Robert C. and Bossie Lee Shuvar Murphy, the widower of Clara M. Murphy and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jack C. Murphy of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandsons all of Los Angeles.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with Dr. Larry Baker officiating. Entombment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's.
