BENTONVILLE — Lois Young, 64, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Lois was born July 28, 1948, in New Kirk, Okla., to the late Bill and Mary Coppinger.

She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.

She was a resident of the Pea Ridge area for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gary Young; her daughters and their families, Kim York and her son, John, and his daughter, Alycia Root, Melissa and Matt Watson, and their children, Sara, Matthew, and Taylor Lee, of Bentonville, Michelle and Danny Nivens and their children, Kaylee and Clay, of Pea Ridge. She was also survived by three stepsons and two stepdaughters, Gary "Rusty" Young and Lyda of Springdale, Tony Young and Afton of Butterfield, Mo., and Brian Young and Susanna of Greenland, Cindy and Mark Graves of Monett, Mo., and Kimberly and Noah Lawton of Seymour, Mo.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Circle of Life Hospice, and donations in her honor, in lieu of flowers, are appreciated.

Graveside service will be held on today, July 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Joyce Cemetery, near Pilgrim's Rest, Ark. Arthur Lee Galloway will officiate the service.
