WILLIAM YOUNG
Lincoln — William Johnson Young, 86, of Lincoln, died Sunday at his home. Born Feb. 16, 1886 in Linden, Tenn., the son of John Wesley and Sarah Horner Young, he was a Presbyterian.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Zula B. Young of the home; two sons, Calvin of Lompoc, Calif. and Wesley of Lincoln; one daughter Mrs. Opal Slaughter of Lincoln; five sisters, Miss Ella Young and Mrs. Ada Pinner of Huntington Park, Calif., Mrs. Annie Hodges of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Lula Whelchel of Evansville and Mrs. Irene Kroeker of Bell, Calif.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lincoln Presbyterian Church with burial in Dutch Mills Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
