CENTERTON - Marvin DeWayne "Skeeter" Young, age 80, of Centerton died Jan. 9, 2015 at VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Hoquiam, Wash., on Oct. 9, 1934, to the late Harley Wesley and Velma Lucille (Lane) Young.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Erma Jane (Cramer) Young; daughters, Cynthia Dewees of Phoenix, Ariz., Dawn Young and husband, Bruce of Bryant, Ark., Breanna Hollowell and husband, David of Centerton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Services and inurnment at Fayetteville National Cemetery will be private.

BENTONVILLE — Erma Jane Young, age 78, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 in Rogers, Ark. She was born Aug. 3, 1941, in Cortez, Colo., to Lloyd and Mable (Tate) Cramer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Nick "Skeeter" Young; her grandparents, Emmet and Phebe Tate; and her brothers, Lloyd Jr., and Clement Cramer.

Erma was a jack of all trades and had many hobbies. She enjoyed bowling and won several trophies for her skill. She was an avid crafter and loved making gifts for her family. She was a very creative person and used that creativity to write books of all different genres.

She is survived by her brother, Johnny Cramer and his with Joyce. She is also survived by two daughters, Dawn Young of Little Rock, and Breanna Hollowell and husband David of Bentonville; five grandchildren, Nicole Phoenix and husband Reason of Lakeland, Fla., Kieran Young of Little Rock, Kayla Hiett and husband Michael of Bentonville, Brent Hollowell of Bentonville, Drew Hollowell and wife Megan of Shawnee, Okla. Erma is survived by her three great-grandchildren, Malachi and Harper Hollowell and Lily Hiett.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020, at First Landmark Baptist Church at 206 S.E. 28th St., Bentonville, Ark. 72712.
